First Reconciliation/First Communion
First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation are typically received for the first time when the child is in the 2nd grade. Classes for public school students are a part of our Religious Education program.
Reception of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation:
A child preparing for these sacraments must have completed a full year of religious instruction immediately preceding the program year. Instruction takes place within the regular preparation period. However, students entering the program after an extended absence or without prior religious instruction may be required to complete additional home study sessions or the children's catechumenate process. Eligibility for sacrament preparation and reception will be determined by the Coordinator of Religious Education and/or the pastor.
