Because the Lord has called us into community, the death of one affects all; the sorrow of one affects all. In this ministry, bereavement minister calls upon the family of the deceased, offering condolence and assistance in selecting readings and music for the funeral liturgy.  Other opportunities to participate in this ministry include passing out programs, reading, distributing Communion, and serving at funeral lunches.  Volunteers welcome.
