What are Faith Families?
The mission of Faith Families is for students to develop a closer relationship to God and strengthen our Catholic community spirit at St. Albert the Great School. Faith Families are groups of 14-16 students from grades K-8 with an 8th grader as a family leader. Each family group is guided by the leaders to discuss a toop and do an activity. The groups sit together at Mass once a month an then meet as a “family” after Mass for about 45 minutes. Sturdents are in a Fiath Family with their “buddy” from another grade (1/6, 2/8, 3/7, 4/5/Kgt.)
What are Walk the Walk Stickers?
They are given to students who show they are following in Jesus’ footsteps. Each Monday the Walk the Walk recipients are recognized on Monday announcements. Teachers or other staff may give out Walk the Walk stickers for reasons such as helping another student or teacher, going above and beyone for someone else, or standing up for others.
