My passion is working with little ones - witnessing them blossom: growing intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually! Plus it's A LOT of fun!! While I’m not planning and teaching preschool I am a mom of 2 wonderful young men - fully grown but still very much part of my life! I love taking walks w/ my dog, listening to all sorts of music, reading and spending time w/ family and friends. And of course being from Chicago - rooting on the Bears and Cubbies!! Preschool Paraprofessional
St. Albert The Great Parish has been a part of my life almost from the very beginning! I began my education at St. Alberts in Sister Cecilia Ann’s first grade classroom many years ago. After 8th grade, I graduated from Alter High School and then University of Cincinnati with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. My first teaching job was at Wee Haven Children’s Center which lasted for 12 years until Joe and I started our family. Our children, Joey and Amy also graduated from St. Alberts. They are both married with successful careers and I am now a grandmother! Once my youngest started kindergarten, I helped her teacher with Body Management classes once a week. I then became the kindergarten assistant for several years until there was an opening for the St. Albert Preschool Teacher. Twenty plus years later I have come full circle and I now assist as a paraprofessional in the Preschool Classroom where it all began. I am blessed to work with the amazing lower level teachers, paraprofessionals as well as the dedicated teachers and supporting staff at St Albert The Great School.
Mrs. Elaine Daly
Preschool Paraprofessional
I’m blessed to be able to say that I have been a teacher my entire adult life. After graduating from college with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in English, speech and theater education, I was lucky enough to begin my teaching career at Centerville High School….and beyond lucky to retire from there as well. However, even though I gave up the day to day classroom part of my job, I still continue to work with my “big kids,” coaching them for their weekly speech competitions which occur during fall and winter. Who wouldn’t want to tour Ohio, riding in a school bus with highschoolers, every Saturday…..from the end of October to the middle of March!!!!? Apparently, life with my big kids, and my husband, stepdaughter and 5 grands just wasn’t enough, so when a Preschool Paraprofessional opening became available here, God led me to StAG. What a gift! Over the past 6 years, I have enjoyed sharing my Tuesdays and Wednesdays in our happy classroom, where special moments happen each day!! I look forward to another wonderful year helping your children build relationships, become independent, and learn more about themselves and the world around them.
Mrs. Jacqueline Borchers
Prekindergarten Paraprofessional
With over 10 years in Corporate America, and a BS in Accounting and Forensic Accounting, I stepped away to stay at home and raise my now fifth grade daughter (Eleanor, a fellow StAG) for the past decade. My daughter, along with dog Penelope, and husband Mike, have kept me busy throughout the years. However as needs have shifted, I became ready for something to call my own. With several years of in-class volunteering, I am now living my dream as a paraprofessional in the PreK classroom. Children have always held a special place in my heart. I look forward to being a positive impact on your child(ren) as we learn together in this GREAT school of ours!
Mrs. Marcy Boillot
Kindergarten Paraprofessional
My name is Marcy Boillot and this is my second year as a kindergarten paraprofessional at St. Albert the Great. I love kindergarten! It is fun to see the progress and growth the little ones make throughout the year. I graduated from Ball State University in May of 1997, with a Bachelor of Science degree. I am a proud Air Forces spouse and mother of three kids, grades 11 th , 8 th , and 5 th . In my free time I enjoy reading and walking my dog. My true love and passion in life is my Catholic faith and family. I feel truly blessed to be a part of the St. Albert the Great family!
Mrs. Joanna Cross
Librarian
Mrs. Cross has always loved the library. As a young girl, she rode her bike to her local library, stocking up on books for the week. Her favorites were Nancy Drew, the Ramona series and anything by Judy Blume. Mrs. Cross is a graduate of the University of Dayton´s Management Information System program, which means she likes to solve puzzles and figure out the most logical and efficient way to do things. She and her husband have three kids, all graduates of St. Albert the Great School. She enjoys time with her dogs Oscar and Daisy, walking and hiking and, of course, reading! Books give us the opportunity to explore new experiences and she likes to help each student find their next adventure!
